Solid 12mm Cladding
Tiger buildings are constructed with shiplap cladding, which is superior tongue & groove timber board with a flush-fit finish. Each solid plank is 12mm thick with scalloping to help prevent water ingress. A smooth, solid, strong barrier pre-treated to meet our high quality standards.
Tongue & Groove
All Tiger sheds are made with tongue & groove timber boards throughout – no cheap and crumbly OSB board at all (unlike some companies we could mention). Our timber is sustainably sourced. We use slow grown European softwood, cut in our woodmill to a high grade.
Premium TigerFelt®
Tiger garden buildings come with TigerFelt® as standard. This is a thicker, polyester-backed high-grade mineral felt to provide a reliable, weatherproof barrier with reduced wear and tear. Only premium quality roofing felt will do!
Thick Rounded Corner Framing
We use slow-grown timber in our framing to provide the sturdy support your shed needs. Sustainably sourced, it’s over an inch thick, and rounded for a smoother finish. Slow-grown timber is better quality, and the heavyweight 28x44mm thickness will help the building stand the test of time.
Secure Steel Fittings
All Tiger buildings come with solid, coated steel fittings for a secure, elegant finish for your peace of mind. Unlike many competitors, all Tiger buildings come with a free door pull as standard.
Toughened Glass
Beware of imitations which use cheaper styrene plastic windows (which tend to ‘mist’ over time). All Tiger windowed sheds & summerhouse come with 3mm thick toughened glass as standard. This glazing is more shock and heat resistant than normal shed windows, making your Tiger all the more durable. TigerFlex® models also arrive with the glass pre-fitted, making assembly even easier!
TigerSkin® Treatment
We treat our timber with TigerSkin, a specially formulated preservative, developed over many years – for a non-greasy weatherproof seal. This pre-treatment applied to the wood and then carefully dried to give your shed an extra layer of protection 365 days a year.
Simple & Easy Assembly
Your Tiger garden building is simple to put together, using the helpful instructions available, and will look great on a firm & level base constructed from a suitably durable material. We also offer an installation service for all Tiger log cabins.

Crafted by us, configured by you. The next in the TigerFlex® series is the Flex Pent Windowless, providing the versatility of Flex Apex with a more contemporary pent roof. The shed’s windowless update is ideal for those who prefer to keep their building’s contents out of sight. The modular door panel of the flexible shed can be fitted on any side, in any position, and the door can be hung either right or left hinged. The shed features superior grade, 12mm finish shiplap cladding with extra thick 44x28mm framing for robust durability.
The TigerFlex® Pent Windowless features extra high eaves for a taller interior, allowing most people to stand comfortably without having to stoop. Covered floor joists lift the building off the ground without letting anything in or under the floor. Heavy duty black mineral roofing felt is supplied as standard for excellent protection against the elements, and fascias, bargeboards and corner strips provide an attractive finish.

No fakes, copies or substitutes can get close to the quality and craftsmanship of the real thing. The individual design and configuration options are unique to the original The Flex Apex, making this building an absolute one of a kind.

- THIS FLEX PENT WINDOWLESS SHED features heavyweight ‘rounded 4 corner’ 28x44mm finish framework throughout for strength and durability – beware of shiplap sheds that use rough sawn ‘matchstick thin’ framework that barely hold the shed together.
- THIS FLEX PENT WINDOWLESS SHED features superior grade tongue and grooved boards in the floor and roof sections and contains NO cheap sheet materials such as OSB or chipboard – beware of shiplap sheds that use single piece OSB / chipboard roofs that offer inferior protection in the areas where you need it most.
- THIS FLEX PENT WINDOWLESS SHED retains our extra high ridge height – beware of shiplap sheds that are incredibly low, preventing comfortable standing inside.

TigerFlex buildings are made with exactly the same high grade timber, using the same high quality materials, with exactly the same roofing felt, ironmongery and treatment as all other Tiger buildings - and in the same Yorkshire workshops too!
It is essential that all garden buildings are assembled on a firm and level base constructed from an appropriate and durable material.
Without the correct base, buildings may be very difficult to assemble. In many cases, an incorrect base may lead to future deterioration of the product if assembly cannot be completed correctly as a result. Problems may include doors dropping out of square and becoming difficult to open and close, and/or water leakage.
Assembling a garden building on an incorrect base is also likely to invalidate any guarantee that your product may carry.

The company is certified to produce ‘FSC mix’ status material which means we operate a credit account whereby all material must be certified as legal and sustainable and any volume proportion that is brought in as FSC certified is then added to our credit account volume of material that we may then sell out as FSC certified.
Any product that we sell out as FSC Mix certified is documented and its volume removed from our credit account and the receiving party, should they be part of the FSC programme, can add the full 100% volume of this product to their own FSC account.
TigerFlex sheds have more framing than a comparable conventional shed because each panel has its own framing; this means a side of a TigerFlex building will have more framing than a similar-size conventional shed, which helps with internal stability.
Every Tiger model has a set of helpful instructions to help assemble the building. A copy will be sent with your delivery, but there will be an electronic version on the product page in the DOWNLOADS section you can access. All the instructions can also be found in the Help Section in the Instructions library.
