What is shiplap? Shiplap is a form of shed cladding that overlaps in a manner that results in a flat timber surface for your shed. With every board, an interlocking design connects the overlapping lips to let water and damp roll off the surface and down to the floor, ensuring moisture can’t get into the building.

This unique cladding also prevents extra cold air and drafts from seeping into the building. The end result is a shed that can stand firm against the wind and the rain, preventing damp, mould and rot building, and stopping any warping in its track. Better yet, shiplap sheds look great and can fit in with most, if not all, outdoor surroundings, whether it’s tucked away in a quite shaded spot in your garden or poised out front as a centrepiece.
