Solid 12mm Cladding
Tiger buildings are constructed with shiplap cladding, which is superior tongue & groove timber board with a flush-fit finish. Each solid plank is 12mm thick with scalloping to help prevent water ingress. A smooth, solid, strong barrier pre-treated to meet our high quality standards.
Tongue & Groove
All Tiger sheds are made with tongue & groove timber boards throughout – no cheap and crumbly OSB board at all (unlike some companies we could mention). Our timber is sustainably sourced. We use slow grown European softwood, cut in our woodmill to a high grade.
Premium TigerFelt®
Tiger garden buildings come with TigerFelt® as standard. This is a thicker, polyester-backed high-grade mineral felt to provide a reliable, weatherproof barrier with reduced wear and tear. Only premium quality roofing felt will do!
Thick Rounded Corner Framing
We use slow-grown timber in our framing to provide the sturdy support your shed needs. Sustainably sourced, it’s over an inch thick, and rounded for a smoother finish. Slow-grown timber is better quality, and the heavyweight 28x44mm thickness will help the building stand the test of time.
Secure Steel Fittings
All Tiger buildings come with solid, coated steel fittings for a secure, elegant finish for your peace of mind. Unlike many competitors, all Tiger buildings come with a free door pull as standard.
Toughened Glass
Beware of imitations which use cheaper styrene plastic windows (which tend to ‘mist’ over time). All Tiger windowed sheds & summerhouse come with 3mm thick toughened glass as standard. This glazing is more shock and heat resistant than normal shed windows, making your Tiger all the more durable. TigerFlex® models also arrive with the glass pre-fitted, making assembly even easier!
TigerSkin® Treatment
We treat our timber with TigerSkin, a specially formulated preservative, developed over many years – for a non-greasy weatherproof seal. This pre-treatment applied to the wood and then carefully dried to give your shed an extra layer of protection 365 days a year.

Your Tiger garden building is simple to put together, using the helpful instructions available, and will look great on a firm & level base constructed from a suitably durable material. We also offer an installation service for all Tiger log cabins.

With its substantial internal storage space this product is perfect for bikes and gardening equipment. Being three quarters of the height of a standard apex shed, the Tiger Bike Shed offers maximum storage in a minimum amount of space. The provision of a lock and key and the shoot bolts on the back of the large double doors make this building extremely secure. The Bike Sheds large double doors offer fantastic access to store your bike, lawnmower or any other gardening essentials.
The tongue and groove shiplap cladding profile comprises of high quality selected European softwood, protected with a TigerSkin water based treatment. The roof of the Tiger Bike Shed is covered with a layer of heavy duty black mineral felt for further protection. Built using ultra strong rounded four corner framework the Bike Shed is both rigid and durable – making it a fantastic storage shed.

Unlike many budget competitor products this building is built with only the highest quality materials and many garden buildings in the market simply cannot compare!
THIS Bike Shed is clad with high grade 12mm finish shiplap tongue and groove cladding – beware of buildings that feature poorly finished rough edged boards milled out of inferior timber often with a thinner finish.
THIS Bike Shed features heavyweight ‘rounded 4 corner’ 28x44mm finish framework throughout giving it the strength to last – beware of buildings that use rough sawn ‘matchstick thin’ framework that barely hold the building together.
THIS Bike Shed features thick tongue and grooved floorboard in the floor and roof sections and contains NO cheap sheet materials such as OSB or chipboard – beware of buildings that use single piece OSB / chipboard roofs that offer little protection in the areas where you need it most.
It is essential that this bike shed is assembled strictly in accordance with the instructions supplied on a firm and level base constructed from a suitably durable material. It should also be treated shortly after assembly and then annually thereafter with an appropriate high quality preservative and all glazing units must be sealed, inside and out, with silicone or other water tight sealant.

Get to grips with your new TigerIt is essential that all garden buildings are assembled on a firm and level base constructed from an appropriate and durable material.
Without the correct base, buildings may be very difficult to assemble. In many cases, an incorrect base may lead to future deterioration of the product if assembly cannot be completed correctly as a result. Problems may include doors dropping out of square and becoming difficult to open and close, and/or water leakage.
Assembling a garden building on an incorrect base is also likely to invalidate any guarantee that your product may carry.

Yes: unlike many competitors, all Tiger buildings with a door come with a lock and key as standard - you do not need to pay for these as an additional extra.
The lock will be pre-fitted, and the key will either be attached to the door framing or in the polytube containing all the fixtures and fittings.
For most sheds and summerhouses it is a standard press lock, while for pressure-treated buildings and log cabins it is a 3-lever lock.
Unlike many sheds in the market, a Tiger shed will already come with a door lock and key as standard (and a free door pull). For added security, you can add a hasp and staple to your door, and they are easy to fit using both screws and holding bolts.
First place the staple on your shed at the desired level next to the door: position so the holding bolt(s) for the hasp will fit into the door's framing. Screw in place but leave some slots open for the later Insertion of holding bolts. The align the hasp with the staple to position it on the door, and mark its location on the door. Open hasp to reveal the fixing holes and screw hasp in place using at least 2x screws. Then fix the holding bolts: drill through the open slots on the hasp and staple into shed and door frame; tap each bolt through and add a washer and nut for each bolt; then tighten until secure. Then add your chosen padlock.

Yes! We secure the small blocks to the bottom of the panels to limit the chance of the bottom edge of the panels breaking.
Simply use a claw hammer or similar to gently remove the blocks before assembly.
We would advise in general that your building is coated after it has been fully assembled. Some customers do prefer to treat or paint their shed before assembly, which can be easier to do (especially if the planned location of the shed may prove difficult to cover once in place). However painting the building - or any parts - will mean we cannot accept a refund or return if you have any issue with your delivered items, so please check your delivery before you add a coat to it.
