Solid 12mm Cladding
Tiger buildings are constructed with shiplap cladding, which is superior tongue & groove timber board with a flush-fit finish. Each solid plank is 12mm thick with scalloping to help prevent water ingress. A smooth, solid, strong barrier pre-treated to meet our high quality standards.
Tongue & Groove
All Tiger sheds are made with tongue & groove timber boards throughout – no cheap and crumbly OSB board at all (unlike some companies we could mention). Our timber is sustainably sourced. We use slow grown European softwood, cut in our woodmill to a high grade.
Premium TigerFelt®
Tiger garden buildings come with TigerFelt® as standard. This is a thicker, polyester-backed high-grade mineral felt to provide a reliable, weatherproof barrier with reduced wear and tear. Only premium quality roofing felt will do!
Thick Rounded Corner Framing
We use slow-grown timber in our framing to provide the sturdy support your shed needs. Sustainably sourced, it’s over an inch thick, and rounded for a smoother finish. Slow-grown timber is better quality, and the heavyweight 28x44mm thickness will help the building stand the test of time.
Secure Steel Fittings
All Tiger buildings come with solid, coated steel fittings for a secure, elegant finish for your peace of mind. Unlike many competitors, all Tiger buildings come with a free door pull as standard.
Toughened Glass
Beware of imitations which use cheaper styrene plastic windows (which tend to ‘mist’ over time). All Tiger windowed sheds & summerhouse come with 3mm thick toughened glass as standard. This glazing is more shock and heat resistant than normal shed windows, making your Tiger all the more durable. TigerFlex® models also arrive with the glass pre-fitted, making assembly even easier!
TigerSkin® Treatment
We treat our timber with TigerSkin, a specially formulated preservative, developed over many years – for a non-greasy weatherproof seal. This pre-treatment applied to the wood and then carefully dried to give your shed an extra layer of protection 365 days a year.
Simple & Easy Assembly
Your Tiger garden building is simple to put together, using the helpful instructions available, and will look great on a firm & level base constructed from a suitably durable material. We also offer an installation service for all Tiger log cabins.

The TigerFlex® Shiplap Apex Bike Shed is fantastic storage space for your garden or yard. It is the perfect compact shed store, with a substantial storage capactiy that will surprise. This is a superior wooden bike shed: the high grade shiplap cladding is 12mm thick with extra thick 44x28mm framing which ensures the building is strong and sturdy. The building comes with extra high eaves ensuring there is ample height within the building so most people won’t have to stoop when inside. This bike storage shed sits on robust floor joists to lift the building off the ground. As with all quality TIger buildings, the roof and floor are solid tongue & groove boarding for extra durabiility, while TigerFelt® heavy duty mineral roofing felt is provided with the shed as standard, to protect further protect it from the elements. It's an excellent compact shed, whether you want to use it as a bike storage shed or for other equipment.

- THIS FLEX APEX BIKE SHED is clad with high grade 12mm finish shiplap tongue and groove cladding – beware of shiplap sheds that feature poorly finished rough edged boards milled out of inferior timber often with a thinner finish.
- THIS FLEX APEX BIKE SHED features heavyweight ‘rounded 4 corner’ 28x44mm finish framework throughout giving it the strength to last – beware of shiplap sheds that use rough sawn ‘matchstick thin’ framework that barely hold the shed together.
- THIS FLEX APEX BIKE SHED features thick tongue and grooved floorboard in the floor and roof sections and contains NO cheap sheet materials such as OSB or chipboard – beware of shiplap sheds that use single piece OSB / chipboard roofs that offer little protection in the areas where you need it most.
- THIS FLEX APEX BIKE SHED retains our extra high ridge height – beware of shiplap sheds that are incredibly low making it difficult to stand up inside.

Frequently Asked Questions
Get to grips with your new TigerTigerFlex sheds, summerhouses and log cabins can be delivered on a Saturday up to 2pm (depending on postcode). Other products marked as Pick A Day shipping can also be delivered on a similar service. Conventional garden buildings on a Pick A Week service are only available for delivery Monday-Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Every Tiger model has a set of helpful instructions to help assemble the building. A copy will be sent with your delivery, but there will be an electronic version on the product page in the DOWNLOADS section you can access. All the instructions can also be found in the Help Section in the Instructions library.
There should be an assembly video available to help put your building together. These cover different building types rather than individual building ranges, so while they are very helpful in showing how different building features are fitted please always use the instructions for your building model.

TigerFlex sheds have more framing than a comparable conventional shed because each panel has its own framing; this means a side of a TigerFlex building will have more framing than a similar-size conventional shed, which helps with internal stability.

TigerFlex buildings are made with exactly the same high grade timber, using the same high quality materials, with exactly the same roofing felt, ironmongery and treatment as all other Tiger buildings - and in the same Yorkshire workshops too!

The company is certified to produce ‘FSC mix’ status material which means we operate a credit account whereby all material must be certified as legal and sustainable and any volume proportion that is brought in as FSC certified is then added to our credit account volume of material that we may then sell out as FSC certified.
Any product that we sell out as FSC Mix certified is documented and its volume removed from our credit account and the receiving party, should they be part of the FSC programme, can add the full 100% volume of this product to their own FSC account.
