Solid 12mm Cladding
Tiger buildings are constructed with shiplap cladding, which is superior tongue & groove timber board with a flush-fit finish. Each solid plank is 12mm thick with scalloping to help prevent water ingress. A smooth, solid, strong barrier pre-treated to meet our high quality standards.
Tongue & Groove
All Tiger sheds are made with tongue & groove timber boards throughout – no cheap and crumbly OSB board at all (unlike some companies we could mention). Our timber is sustainably sourced. We use slow grown European softwood, cut in our woodmill to a high grade.
Premium TigerFelt®
Tiger garden buildings come with TigerFelt® as standard. This is a thicker, polyester-backed high-grade mineral felt to provide a reliable, weatherproof barrier with reduced wear and tear. Only premium quality roofing felt will do!
Thick Rounded Corner Framing
We use slow-grown timber in our framing to provide the sturdy support your shed needs. Sustainably sourced, it’s over an inch thick, and rounded for a smoother finish. Slow-grown timber is better quality, and the heavyweight 28x44mm thickness will help the building stand the test of time.
Secure Steel Fittings
All Tiger buildings come with solid, coated steel fittings for a secure, elegant finish for your peace of mind. Unlike many competitors, all Tiger buildings come with a free door pull as standard.
Toughened Glass
Beware of imitations which use cheaper styrene plastic windows (which tend to ‘mist’ over time). All Tiger windowed sheds & summerhouse come with 3mm thick toughened glass as standard. This glazing is more shock and heat resistant than normal shed windows, making your Tiger all the more durable. TigerFlex® models also arrive with the glass pre-fitted, making assembly even easier!
TigerSkin® Treatment
We treat our timber with TigerSkin, a specially formulated preservative, developed over many years – for a non-greasy weatherproof seal. This pre-treatment applied to the wood and then carefully dried to give your shed an extra layer of protection 365 days a year.

Your Tiger garden building is simple to put together, using the helpful instructions available, and will look great on a firm & level base constructed from a suitably durable material. We also offer an installation service for all Tiger log cabins.

Packed with fun but also designed and built with the safety and wellbeing of children in mind this model is a winner for everyone. The safety of this popular model is emphasised further by the inclusion of Georgian style safety windows and ultra safe hinges with rubber protection.
Built with endurance and longevity in mind this product will last for years to come; the tongue and groove shiplap cladding is robust and secure, protected with a factory treated weather resistant basecoat preservative and the heavy duty black mineral felt covering protects all inhabitants from the elements.

Unlike many budget competitor products this building is built with only the highest quality materials and many garden buildings in the market simply cannot compare!
THIS 2 STOREY WOODEN PLAYHOUSE is clad with high grade 12mm finish shiplap tongue and groove cladding – beware of buildings that feature poorly finished rough edged boards milled out of inferior timber often with a thinner finish.
THIS 2 STOREY WOODEN PLAYHOUSE features heavyweight ‘rounded 4 corner’ 28x44mm finish framework throughout giving it the strength to last – beware of buildings that use rough sawn ‘matchstick thin’ framework that barely hold the building together.
THIS 2 STOREY WOODEN PLAYHOUSE features thick tongue and grooved floorboard in the floor and roof sections and contains NO cheap sheet materials such as OSB or chipboard – beware of buildings that use single piece OSB / chipboard roofs that offer little protection in the areas where you need it most.
It is essential that this 2 Storey Wooden Playhouse is assembled strictly in accordance with the instructions supplied on a firm and level base constructed from a suitably durable material. It should also be treated shortly after assembly and then annually thereafter with an appropriate high quality preservative and all glazing units must be sealed, inside and out, with silicone or other water tight sealant.

In many cases, an incorrect base may lead to future deterioration of the product if assembly cannot be completed correctly as a result. Problems may include doors dropping out of square and becoming difficult to open and close, and/or water leakage.
Assembling a garden building on an incorrect base is also likely to invalidate any guarantee that your product may carry.

For child safety Tiger playhouses do not have lockable doors and are held shut by light magnetic strips to allow children to play more accessibility.
For safety reasons, Tiger playhouses are the only buildings in the Tiger collections that are fitted with styrene glazing instead of toughened glass as standard. Styrene is a lightweight, plastic material which, while not as clear or as long lasting as toughened glass, is commonly used by other garden building retailers in all their ranges.
