A Cut Above

All Tiger cabin logs are designed to interlock with a chamfered finish to ensure a snug fit. The unique four-way chamfered notch system is specially designed to prevent damp or wind penetration. A smooth, solid, strong barrier engineered to meet our high quality standards.

Naturally Engineered

Our timber is sustainably sourced. We use slow grown European softwood, cut in our own sawmill to a high grade. Each log fits tongue and groove for strength and solidity, and is cut to an 0.01mm tolerance. The extra thick 44mm logs have a double tongue and groove for an even firmer link.

Premium TigerFelt^®

Tiger garden buildings come with TigerFelt^® as standard. This is a thicker, polyester-backed high-grade mineral felt to provide a reliable, weatherproof barrier with reduced wear and tear. Only premium quality roofing felt will do!

High Spec As Standard

Joiner-made doors and windows are supplied fully glazed or boarded, and all external doors are fitted with mortice locks, with double glazing, 5 way lever locks and roof shingles upgrades also available.

From just adding an extra window, to something completely original, our expertise means we can help you add your personality into your perfect space. As we mill the timber ourselves, we can be much more flexible than the competition – and much more creative!

Toughened Glass

Beware of imitations- log cabins which use cheaper styrene plastic windows (which tend to ‘mist’ or shatter easily over time). All Tiger log cabins come with 4mm thick toughened glass as standard. This glazing is more shock and heat resistant than horticultural glass in many other buildings, making your Tiger all the more durable.

One of the best pent roof style log cabins on offer is the Rho log cabin - a very smart looking and feeling 44mm log cabin. Features on the Rho log cabin include the joiner made windows, which are draft sealed as standard, as well as the draft sealed and lockable double fully glazed doors. The Rho is a hugely adaptable building and is easy to customise, you may wish to use it as an outdoor bedroom, office, home gym, the list is endless.

Like the rest of our range of log cabins, we won't be beaten on material quality, and we make sure we use predominantly slow grown High Grade European Softwoods from reliable sources. BEWARE OF CHEAP IMITATION CABINS:
Unlike many budget competitor products this log cabin is built with only the highest quality materials and many log cabins in the market simply cannot compare!

RHO LOG CABINS feature high-grade 44mm interlocking planned and finished logs – beware of log cabins that feature rough edged boards machined from poor quality timber.
RHO LOG CABINS feature a specially designed 4-way chamfered notch-joint system ensuring a tight fit to all boards with little room for damp or wind penetration – beware of log cabins that feature square cut logs with square notch-joint, often leaving a sloppy joint with large visible gaps.
RHO LOG CABINS feature heavy duty black mineral roofing felt as standard, with the easy option to upgrade to premium quality roof shingles – beware of log cabins that come with no roof covering, leaving the cabin completely open to the elements.
RHO LOG CABINS feature oversized extra large doors and windows – most competitor log cabins use narrow doors which can prove difficult for access.
RHO LOG CABINS feature high quality glazing which is factory siliconed and internally beaded to all windows – beware of log cabins that feature lesser quality materials and provide no window beading.

Get to grips with your new Tiger

I need to build a base for my product, how can I do this?

It is essential that all garden buildings are assembled on a firm and level base constructed from an appropriate and durable material.

Without the correct base, buildings may be very difficult to assemble. In many cases, an incorrect base may lead to future deterioration of the product if assembly cannot be completed correctly as a result. Problems may include doors dropping out of square and becoming difficult to open and close, and/or water leakage.

Assembling a garden building on an incorrect base is also likely to invalidate any guarantee that your product may carry.

How do I install cabin guttering?

Cabin guttering is a very popular addition to upgrading a log cabin.

It is easy to install and adds a sophisticated touch to your garden building.

How do I install roof shingles on my log cabin?

Roofing shingles are a good addition to completing a log cabin, and are quite straightforward to install - and can be fitted over existing (or new) roofing felt for an extra layer of weatherproofing.

They are durable, hardwearing and low maintenance, and add a significant upgrade for weather protection and insulation.

They are available in a popular selection of colours.

How do I fit an internal warm floor?

When should I treat or paint my log building?

We would strongly advise waiting until after it has been fully assembled. Painting individual logs adds moisture to the wood which may affect how easily the logs go together. Also painting will mean we cannot accept a refund or return if you have any issue with your items, so you should check your delivery before you coat it.
