A Cut Above

All Tiger cabin logs are designed to interlock with a chamfered finish to ensure a snug fit. The unique four-way chamfered notch system is specially designed to prevent damp or wind penetration. A smooth, solid, strong barrier engineered to meet our high quality standards.

Naturally Engineered

Our timber is sustainably sourced. We use slow grown European softwood, cut in our own sawmill to a high grade. Each log fits tongue and groove for strength and solidity, and is cut to an 0.01mm tolerance. The extra thick 44mm logs have a double tongue and groove for an even firmer link.

Premium TigerFelt^®

Tiger garden buildings come with TigerFelt^® as standard. This is a thicker, polyester-backed high-grade mineral felt to provide a reliable, weatherproof barrier with reduced wear and tear. Only premium quality roofing felt will do!

High Spec As Standard

Joiner-made doors and windows are supplied fully glazed or boarded, and all external doors are fitted with mortice locks, with double glazing, 5 way lever locks and roof shingles upgrades also available.

From just adding an extra window, to something completely original, our expertise means we can help you add your personality into your perfect space. As we mill the timber ourselves, we can be much more flexible than the competition – and much more creative!

Toughened Glass

Beware of imitations- log cabins which use cheaper styrene plastic windows (which tend to ‘mist’ or shatter easily over time). All Tiger log cabins come with 4mm thick toughened glass as standard. This glazing is more shock and heat resistant than horticultural glass in many other buildings, making your Tiger all the more durable.

This log cabin will be perfectly suited to the corner of your garden because of its unique shape and innovative construction. Whatever your need, the Lana can be the perfect space for entertaining, relaxing or as a workspace. Made with high-grade 44mm finish interlocking logs, the Lana is as strong and secure as it is functional, meaning like all our of cabins it will last for years to come.

The front of the Lana log cabin is complimented by the inclusion of European style fully glazed double doors offering easy access to the spacious interior. Supplementing the doors are attractive handles and a high security 3-lever lock. The log cabin also features several fantastic joiner made windows which are fully draft sealed and key lockable for additional security.

BEWARE OF CHEAP IMITATION LOG CABINS:

Unlike many budget competitor products, Lana Log Cabins are built with only the highest quality materials and many log cabins in the market simply cannot compare!

LANA LOG CABINS feature high-grade 44mm interlocking planned and finished logs – beware of log cabins that feature rough edged boards machined from poor quality timber.
LANA LOG CABINS feature a specially designed 4-way chamfered notch-joint system ensuring a tight fit to all boards with little room for damp or wind penetration – beware of log cabins that feature square cut logs with square notch-joint, often leaving a sloppy joint with large visible gaps.
LANA LOG CABINS feature factory fitted pressure treated weatherproof heavy duty floor joists – beware of log cabins with untreated floor joists which offer no protection against damp penetration at floor level or worse still cabins that come with no floor joists at all.
LANA LOG CABINS feature heavy duty black mineral roofing felt as standard, with the easy option to upgrade to premium quality roof shingles – beware of log cabins that come with no roof covering, leaving the log cabin completely open to the elements.

Get to grips with your new Tiger

I need to build a base for my product, how can I do this?

It is essential that all garden buildings are assembled on a firm and level base constructed from an appropriate and durable material.

Without the correct base, buildings may be very difficult to assemble. In many cases, an incorrect base may lead to future deterioration of the product if assembly cannot be completed correctly as a result. Problems may include doors dropping out of square and becoming difficult to open and close, and/or water leakage.

Assembling a garden building on an incorrect base is also likely to invalidate any guarantee that your product may carry.

What tools are needed for building a log cabin?

We advise a tape measure, spirit level, sharp knife, wood saw, screwdriver, spanner, drill, ladder, hammer and a rubber mallet as tools for putting any log cabin together. The rubber headed mallet is especially important to tap the logs together for a tight fit without marking or damaging the timber. We would strongly advise a white rubber mallet as it is less likely to mark the bare timber: these are easily available from any DIY store for around £10.

When should I treat or paint my shed?

We would advise in general that your building is coated after it has been fully assembled. Some customers do prefer to treat or paint their shed before assembly, which can be easier to do (especially if the planned location of the shed may prove difficult to cover once in place). However painting the building - or any parts - will mean we cannot accept a refund or return if you have any issue with your delivered items, so please check your delivery before you add a coat to it.

Do you use FSC timber?

Yes!

We are very conscious of our Environmental Impact and so Tiger Sheds is FSC certified under Chain of Custody Number: TT-CW-005298

The company is certified to produce ‘FSC mix’ status material which means we operate a credit account whereby all material must be certified as legal and sustainable and any volume proportion that is brought in as FSC certified is then added to our credit account volume of material that we may then sell out as FSC certified.

Any product that we sell out as FSC Mix certified is documented and its volume removed from our credit account and the receiving party, should they be part of the FSC programme, can add the full 100% volume of this product to their own FSC account.

Will my Tiger come with instructions?

Every Tiger model has a set of helpful instructions to help assemble the building. A copy will be sent with your delivery, but there will be an electronic version on the product page in the DOWNLOADS section you can access. All the instructions can also be found in the Help Section in the Instructions library.
